So, apparently, Yashiro met with Ren that day and he had already noticed the missing necklace. He just put two and two together to figure out what happened and that is also thanks to Ren’s especially good mood that day.
Interestingly, Yashiro is keeping his cool and everything instead of having some overly joyous reaction that I would expect since something big happened between the two. Since he stalks fan sites, he immediately made a back-up plan for this kind of scenario. I guess Lory doesn’t have to be involved in asking for the prototype of the necklace. I’m just imagining that Yashiro went to the company and asked for it. They probably gladly give it after all, they got a lot of business from Ren who’ll always wear something that they’ve made. Haha, I assume that people knew the company where it is made.

I don’t quite understand the change of the watch brand though. Did I miss that part? Who is the close male relative? ^^; Anyway, we found out the reason why they aren’t nipping the rumor from its bud. Yashiro is going to also use Kana to hide Kyouko’s identity as Ren’s love interest.
From what was implied, I guess the fans are the vicious jealous type who would probably tear down the girl whom they don’t think fit/is a match with their idol. It would be quite problematic since Kyouko is just starting her career. Hm...is this the other reason why the author decided not to make their relationship official?

Based on Tina’s reaction about Rick being angry at her and Rick is thinking she’s heartless, I think she has a change of heart regarding Kuon’s role that night. Probably felt guilty that Kuon disappeared after that day and she probably knew how important Rick was to Kuon that he doesn't want that to happen to him.
I wonder though who is the ‘there’s one other person who was soft when it comes to her’? Was it Kuon? Why did she tell the man to forget it when asked but in the end, she mentioned Kuon’s name? Unless it is like what Yashiro did earlier hinting on some girl and later revealing that it is Kyouko.

When Tina slightly blush at the man who offered his hand, I wondered if she had moved on. Perhaps, she would know want some sort of closure and is trying to find where Kuon is. On a side note, I did think though that she should have removed her high heeled shoes before heading down that rocky terrain. ^^;
If she does want some closure, I guess there would be less drama when she meets up with Kuon. Though, the drama might be more on facing the bully who might be Cedric. Somehow if Ren goes to the US and it is covered by media, those who know Kuon would recognize him. And, I wonder what would be the reason for Kyouko to go the US since almost all of the main characters are going there.
As for the author’s note, since that isn’t the day that Rick died and it is supposed to be not really important, based on stories I’ve read and watched...for someone to visit the grave of a deceased lover with the opposite sex...that is like, introduction of the new lover. ^^
