Upon meeting each other, Cedric ignores Kyouko as if she didn’t exist. Kyouko is totally shocked by this because it is the first time someone reacted like that. Cedric only paid attention to her when Mr. D called out to her. While Kyouko wondered how to answer him when he asked if she is also a ‘member’ [of the project], Mr. D tell her that he knew about the project and starts to introduce Cedric to her.
Cedric continues to ignore Kyouko. Kyouko then saw a girl hugging the cat. When Kyouko asked if it is her pet, the girl starts to protest that it isn’t a pet but a family member and friend. Mr. D interrupted her by informing the girl, Maizie that it was Kyouko who brought the cat there. Maizie changed her tune and starts to thank Kyouko. She even gave Kyouko a s’more treat.
While Mr. D and Maizie argue about Maizie eating a lot of s’mores, Yashiro and Kanae arrive. While Cedric quietly leave, they talk about finding the cat’s owner and Cedric’s non-reaction to Kyouko. Kyouko has a bad feeling about it all but shrugs it off as Mr. D greets the two.

I partly guessed that would be how Cedric reacted since it was mentioned before that he can think ‘lowly’ of others. I guess it is a much worse reaction since there is no bad reaction like ridicule or ‘try to ignore’ kind of reaction. But then, the guy is an actor so who knows what he is really thinking.
Even if Mr. D introduced her to Cedric, he still maintained that kind of ‘you don’t exist’ reaction. I’m guess that he is the type who acts like that [ignore your existence] if you are a nobody. Perhaps, this is more on private. He’ll definitely act differently if he is in front of the camera or there are lots of people. If not, he won’t have so many gushing fans.
We have a new character. I guess she is a new talent under Mr. D. I assume that she is the lonely type to insist that her cat is her only family and friend. Anyway, it seems like she is a nice girl. It is interesting that of all names, her name has to start with M. I wonder if there is a reason like she is somehow related to Maria.

Everyone is surprised when Mr. D informed them that the cat has a role in the Project. It is at this time, Kyouko informs Mr. D that she is just a personal assistant to Kanae who is part of the project. Mr. D is a bit disappointed that he won’t be able to see Kyouko’s acting.
Then, Mr. D notices Yashiro. After some introduction, Mr. D tears up and suddenly hugs Yashiro. This bewilders everyone. Mr. D prays that God bless Yashiro in his future. Then, he tells Maisie that they are leaving. While walking, Mr. D is grateful that Yashiro is supporting Ren. He is frustrated that he has to keep things regarding Ren a secret. Maizie comments that his prayer to Yashiro is like a warning of something bad is going to happen.
After they left, Yashiro starts to freak out about the prayer as if he is going to die. Thanks to Kyouko giving him a hint that Mr. D is a friend of Lory, Yashiro realizes that it might have something to do with Ren. Soon, Kyouko and everyone are in the ballroom. The others gush over Cedric and their American counterparts. Rikiya [tour leader] tries to pacify them.
Kanae is more interested in meeting the director and she hopes that he won’t be cosplaying. Since she had to keep Leo’s knack for hiding his identity a secret as Yuki requested, Kyouko couldn’t tell her that is impossible. So, when the host introduces Leo, it is no surprise that he is in cosplay. This time, as some video game/sentai ninja.

Well, apparently, the cat is a talent. Somehow, I think that in one way or another, Kyouko might be part of the project later on as an actress, even if it might be a minor role. Hehe, unless, they need some sort of replacement. Hmm...I wonder what role Cedric is going to play? Most likely he is the male lead? That would be more rational if he is going for some vs scenes with Ren later on in the project, if it is the same as what they practiced.
I guess that ‘blessing’ is in some way like a premonition that something bad is going to happen like last chapter’s cliffhanger regarding Kyouko’s bad feeling. Anyway, it’s good that Yashiro had some sort of warning so when things happen, he knows something is up.
I think the author is building things up but then, unlike before, Ren would most likely be able to overcome it being with everyone here now. I wonder if Ren wanted to avoid this first meeting of the cast that is why he didn’t go yet. Or, there is something he has to get ready or prepare first or avoid something else. ^^;

It seems that Kanae isn’t impressed with Cedric either so that’s good. Ah, but then, if Cedric is the love interest, they might have some problem during shooting. Unless, they are really good that they can fake the chemistry onscreen. This might be Kanae’s first with romance so I don’t know if she can easily pull it off especially since she isn’t into romance stuff.
Anyway, I wonder how the others would react to their cosplaying director. Unlike Lory, Leo is the type who cosplay with his face in a mask so nobody really knows if there is a switch later on or not. Hehe, unless, someone can recognize ‘body type’ like Kyouko does with Ren.
Also, do the others know this habit of Leo? It makes me wonder if there is a reason for it or he is just really eccentric like how Lory is. Something like genius = weirdo. As a mangaka, it is fun to draw and think of all sorts of cosplay for Leo. ^^
