The school bell rings. The others are talking about bringing snacks and sharing them. Haruhi is moping outside the classroom. She wonders if she’ll always repeat that experience of ice cold rocks hitting her and everything becoming red.
She’ll be like them going through that every day. She doesn’t want that but then, she recalls her brother telling her that he’ll definitely find a solution and then, he’ll call her. She looks at her phone and messages her brother that she now knows the situation.
She informs him about a boy who told her that everyone is already dead and they would always repeat the past. She believes that her brother will save her and she can only depend on him.
Chiharu texts her back and suggests that she try to talk to that boy since he might know something more. Haruhi is relieved that she can still contact her brother. She goes into the classroom and calls out the boy.

He sighs because there are no news regarding it since the time he heard about it when he was young. He decided to check other articles which mention about the same incident – missing corpses in a plane crash, missing passengers in a ship, etc.
It is already 8:10pm. His mother calls out to him and asks if Haruhi hasn’t come home yet and if she got into some kind of incident. Looking at her phone, the mother says that Haruhi didn’t call either. Chiharu puts on his coat and tells her not to worry, he’ll bring her home.
Back in the past, the boy tells Haruhi that everyone was terrified that time so they cried and shouted nonstop. “But then, gradually, the sounds stop because in our hearts, we realize that we won’t be saved.” Haruhi recalls the accident.

“I would always take it out and look at it before I lose consciousness. I wondered what will happen to mother and younger sister if I died. I’m really worried, really worried... Right now, every time I look at this picture, I remember them. It reminds me that I absolutely have to go back. *Haruhi thinks that’s the reason why he’s the only one who still retained his memories* You also definitely have family that you cannot forget.”
Haruhi declares that she absolutely won’t forget. Someone calls out to them and says that it’s time to go. Haruhi is determined not to forget. Back in the real world, Chiharu had biked to the tunnel’s entrance. He sees some flowers, food and drinks at the side. He sees a note, ‘Brother, please quickly come back. – Hanae [guesswork from 花惠]’

She thinks that she couldn’t endure that scary incident no matter how many times it happened. Her cellphone rings. Chiharu messages her that this isn’t considered a useful message but he is a bit bothered about something.
He tells her that it is very strange that the bodies couldn’t be found so he thinks that there is some kind of influence around her that is making her unable to leave the place. Haruhi recalls Momo saying about not wanting to think about something because it isn’t a nice incident.
She realizes that she has to make them realize that they are already dead. She panics when she sees that she only has 5% battery. She quickly types that she’ll try it.

Since Chiharu is looking serious and quiet, Aoi says that they are just joking, what happened, let’s all have fun since it is a rare excursion. Haruhi thinks that these children are trapped in the past that they kept on experiencing the accident non-stop.
“I also want to help them... If I know that I’m already dead, that time... if I haven’t gone inside Chiharu-ani’s room... If I don’t know about these things... Huh? How did I get here... My memory has become a bit fuzzy... I’m going home together with my friends... and then... what do my friends’ face look like... my memory...”
Haruhi calls out to the boy as Yuki and asks how did she came there. “When did I come here? How many times has this repeated already...?” Yuki asks, repeated, what is she talking about? This made Haruhi quickly ask him about his family picture.

To her shock, her cellphone’s battery went dead. She can no longer contact her brother. Chiharu is speechless that he can no longer contact his sister. He takes some book and goes out of the room. The mother is entertaining some men.
On the morning news, there is something about a missing 12 year old girl for three days. There were witnesses on that day she went missing. She and her friends had left school and she is going back to her house. Afterwards, there is no contact.
She asks him where Chiharu is going when the police are still asking questions. He tells her that he has to investigate some things. He then bikes to some place. Back in the past, Haruhi wakes up to Momo telling her about Sakura is going to confess to Suzuki.
Haruhi says yes, yes, that’s amazing. She thinks that she is strangely anxious and it always feels like she has forgotten about something but then, what is it. “Who did I forget? A while ago, it seems that I’m talking with someone...”

Haruhi couldn’t understand what he is saying and his expression is quite intense. “But, what’s up with me... I’m feeling very flustered...” Yuki says that the time when he can remember is also decreasing and it won’t be long when the photo cannot help him but perhaps, she still has a chance...as long as she can make calls...
This made Haruhi check her cellphone and recalling that it has no battery charge. Momo and others then tells her that it is time to go! Haruhi says yes, and tells Yuki that they should quickly go. Yuki just says okay. She asks what was he saying a while ago. He says nothing, since he couldn’t remember then it shouldn’t be something important. Yuki says that’s right. And they head out to ride on the bus.

So these kids’ bodies cannot be found because they weren’t able to accept that they have died. In a way, majority wins because Yuki is aware and Haruhi is still alive but they’re still in there. In a way, I think there is some sort of supernatural going on because Haruhi starts to forget, too.
There’s nothing much Haruhi can do on her side especially since she believes that she cannot convince the others that they are already dead. Hopefully, Chiharu would be able to figure it out. Scans by 离境汉化组
