Thanks to the flashback, I now have a clearer picture of the dynamics between the three characters on the cover. I guess it is really ‘too bad’ for the two-timing parent/s. I do wonder though what are the chances in real life for kids to be so smart that they’ll investigate a family member because of this feeling they have.
It is one thing to feel something is different/wrong with the interactions but to the point of following the parent to know what’s up...at elementary age? And, even if they are just a 1-2 years old difference, Uzuki have also investigated his father. Wow.

Uzuki is also different. I guess he doesn’t have friends either. It is strange that he openly wanted to keep in touch with the ‘illegitimate child’. Connecting this to Chika, I’m guessing that Uzuki has this strong affinity with people who have problematic fathers. I wonder if Abiko has the same issue.
Natsu tends to go with the flow and doesn’t really have a strong sense of ‘self’. Uzuki seems to have a harder time doing that since he confessed to Natsu about wanting to ‘breaking it all’ but ‘the aftermath is too bothersome’ and ‘living a lie makes one doubt even oneself’.
I wonder about this ‘breaking it all’ and ‘aftermath being bothersome’. Does that refer to revealing to his mother about the affair? Ah, she doesn’t know, right? If not, I guess it is about venting his anger and feelings on to something. So, I would assume that Chika gave Uzuki that outlet on how to deal with it.

From Uzuki’s stories, he is rather fond of Chika and knows the real Chika contrary to the rumors. And, from the brothers’ last talk before, I would presume that the reason why Uzuki framed Chika is because he needs him. Chika has already found a way out of the darkness and that delinquent life. Uzuki couldn’t bear to lose him and be stuck there alone.
I guess things didn’t work out as planned because Chika didn’t go back to him. But then, who in their right mind would when you would say that you’re the reason for what happened at gramps’ place. Uzuki didn’t expect that Chika can still find some way out...that is the koto club and got new friends, too. So, for now, I would assume that he wants Chika to go to a dead end so that he’ll go back to him.

Tetsuki is giving good advice to Natsu. Actually, in these kinds of situation, it is always a big thing to know the truth from the person himself rather than knowing it from others. He even mentioned to Natsu about Chika liking his sound so that is a big push for him to do the right thing.
But for Natsu, this is a difficult thing because he is the ‘going with the flow’ type of guy. He doesn’t like making decisions for himself and prefer others doing it for him. In a way, it is less hassle. And, I guess, it is also a way to keep distant for others. As he mentioned, easy to cut ties. I would think that this is partly because of his father.

Atsumu has become strong. Even if he is being annoying and he can get hurt when the other lashes back, he clings on to Natsu especially since he knows that something is wrong. That’s a real friend. Well, Atsumu isn’t going to easily let go of this person whom he considers a friend. Ah, kind of like how Uzuki is with Chika?
So, Chika and Natsu cannot play well because of their issues/worries. Takezou and Satowa already notice it. The trio thinks that it is because of the exams. And well, before Natsu can tell Chika about it, Uzuki has made his appearance/move. Ah, strike while the iron is hot? I wonder if he is anticipating Natsu not to tell Chika about their relation.

Well, that kind of greeting can really throw off one’s guard. After all that has happened in the past, the culprit hugs you and says he misses you. Hm...I guess Uzuki doesn’t think he did something really wrong and for him, this is like a reunion...I finally found you again.
Somewhat reminds me of stories that has crazed stalker-type lovers who just won’t let go and will do everything they can so that you’ll be together forever. I wonder how Chika would react afterwards. If he acts negatively, it will puzzle others and he would have to tell them everything.
I wonder if Natsu would still have a chance to tell Chika about it or Uzuki would beat him to it. I’m not too sure how Chika would react. If Natsu told him earlier, there is no reason to doubt but if it is later, Chika might start wondering if the brothers are in it together since Uzuki is already moving starting with that note on the door. Oh ya, wasn’t that a ‘love letter’. Hehe.
