On the ferry boat, Takumi muses that Haruto also went up and he’s all wet. At the viewing deck, Haruto and Yuu are looking at the magnificent view of the waterfalls.
Narration: “Right now, even if I see the two of them together, I also don’t have any other ideas about it. *sees Yusuke taking a picture of Mina and Tarako* That guy is really lucky that he is able to go on a field trip with his girlfriend. *sees Mina looking sadly at Haruto and Yuu* Aida is really such a fool... *turns to leave* Until now, she still hasn’t let it go.”
At the hotel in Toronto, sick Yuu is sleeping in bed. Meiko tells the others that she’ll go and report first. “I’ll say that she has already stabilized. The homeroom teacher is still waiting for news.” Tarako says that she’ll go buy some drinks. Yusuke wants to accompany her.
Haruto says that he’ll go change his clothes first so he’ll trouble Takumi in taking care of things here. Takumi says okay and while doing that, Haruto can also go take a bath. “You’re also freezing, right?” Haruto says okay.
After Haruto and the others left, Takumi nervously thinks that Haruto’s cheek is swollen. “Could it be that Yuu-chan gave him a right hook punch? She did learn it during summer...” Yuu suddenly waves her arms and say, “...one more time...”
Takumi goes !? and wonders if her temperature went up again. He quickly holds her head and tells her to be careful or she’ll hit her head on the headboard. Takumi is having a hard time keeping Yuu steady and comments that her sleeping position is really bad.
Yuu giggles in her sleep and says congratulations. Puzzled Takumi smiles a bit and thinks that she talks too much in her sleep. “...she looks more childish than usual, is it because she isn’t wearing make-up? Ah, she always does things as if her life is depended on it...”
Yuu coughs and says it’s hot. He asks if she is alright. He takes off the cooling patch on her forehead and says that he’ll replace it for her. Yuu suddenly grabs his hand and says, “...so cool... Touch me more for a while...”
Takumi looks surprised and goes on a mini panic. “—Yuu-chan! You are really so careless!! *blushes* How can you say such words!” Click. Click. Click. Takumi turns to see Mina sitting on the bed smiling while holding her cellphone to take pictures. “Wow- Such a boiling hot sight♡ Look over here-”
Mina smiles and says that she’ll go help him in stalling Haruto. Takumi tells her that she herself ought to also know that what she is doing is useless. “Do not hinder them.” He grabs Mina’s arm and Mina says don’t touch her...
Takumi immediately let go causing Mina to fall on the bed. Mina angrily shouts, hey! Takumi just says that he isn’t touching her anymore. Flustered Mina asks if in his heart, could it be that he never thought of using an opportunity to steal her [from Haruto]? “Do not force onto me that ‘bearing it all quietly’ of yours!”
After a pause, Takumi says that he had sincerely come to wish them happiness. “I understand your feelings, but for me, Kuro and Yuu-chan are very important. I’m satisfied as long as I can see their smiles.” Mina looks surprised.
Somewhat laughing, Takumi says that actually, she also doesn’t really want to have a conflict with Yuu, right. Blushing Mina exclaims in surprise. Takumi says, “Because it is embarrassing to do mischief and it is also too childish, it is better that you sincerely confront your own heart earlier. But then, it might be a bit difficult for you.”
Takumi suppressed his laugh while bewildered Mina asks what kind of pose is that. Takumi starts laughing and says that he’ll properly wait for it. Turning around, Mina says who knows if Yuu is sincerely saying that. “Ah- geez! I should go dress up!”
Wiping a tear from laughing, Takumi tells Yuu, “Kuro will be jealous but I appreciate your good intention.” Mina glances at Takumi before leaving. Later on, Yusuke comes in and tells Takumi that Haruto told him that the teacher is doing a roll call so he better quickly go back...
Yusuke goes into shock and quickly embraces Takumi telling him not to do that! “Even if it is only the two of you alone, you also cannot take advantage and do a stealth attack on her while she is sleeping!! Weren’t you about to lose control of yourself!”
Irked Takumi darkly says, ah—geez— He is actually just fixing Yuu’s blanket while she is sound asleep. Yusuke continues to shout that Takumi and Haruto are his friends! Takumi sweatdrops and says that he is misunderstanding things, stupid Kaji.
Takumi thinks that actually he likes beautiful girls who are older than him but then, Yuu-chan is an exception. He leans to kiss the saleslady and thinks that as long as he wants to, he can immediately embark on a new love...
He is surprised when smiling Mina suddenly grabs his arm and shouts, “Hey, auntie! Can you please take your hands off my boyfriend?” Takumi exclaims when did they start going steady? The saleslady angrily leaves in a huff.
Holding her cellphone, Mina tells him not to act cool in front of her. “You got a lot of nerve to scold me, but what is going on here? *shows a picture of Takumi blushing when Yuu holds his hand* Here, I’ll even enlarge it for you to see☆ Your expression isn’t as calm as you imagined it to be. You’ve become like that just from holding hands-”
Embarrassed Takumi shouts for her to delete it and don’t enlarge it! Narration: “Just this girl, I absolutely do not want to have a relationship with her!!”
Takumi says that he’ll absolutely make her delete that picture. Tarako comments that it feels that those two are quite a match-- Meiko agrees. Yusuke protests but it looks like they really hate each other!?
Later on, while drinking juice at a table, Mina tells Takumi not to sit at the same table with her. Takumi says that he doesn’t want to either but then, all the other seats are already taken. Someone says, “Perhaps, the two are...”
In a way, aside from realizing that it is futile, Takumi has come to realize the two are important to him and to keep on pursuing Yuu can end up with broken relationships. Mina seems to know it, too but I guess her pride won’t let her easily give up so at the moment, she is still continuing her mischief on Yuu.
I wonder if Yuu’s reward will happen in the next chapter/s. It seems that after everything, Takumi would still easily let a woman comfort him even if it is a stranger. But then, perhaps, this is what they call a rebound?
For Mina, I guess what she said is partly true and subconsciously, she is falling for him. That ‘sudden pretend as her boyfriend’ reminded me of Yuu and Haruto. ^^; Apparently, the two will be the bickering type of couple.
Indeed, they are a match. As I mentioned long ago, it is only between each other they can actually be honest and the other knows what the other is truly like.
