At the doctor’s office, the doctor tells Yu that her memories are only up to her junior high. “So, what was your junior high life like?” Depressed Yu says that she was called Akajuzo.
“I dressed up quite old fashioned, and have no self-confidence. During junior high, I got targeted by a group of guys so I was always bullied by them. *bows head* I’m really scared of rude and unreasonable people. I won’t dare talk no matter what people would say about me.”
The doctor says that’s really strange. The doctor turns out to be Haruto. He says, “When you’re in front of me, you’ll dare go woof woof and bark nonstop. *holds her face to him* It looks like I have to properly re-educate you again, you stupid dog.” Yu says ...yes. Narration: “Huh? Wait! What’s going on, I [/What’s up with me]...”
Blushing really red, Yu holds her stuffed toy and falls on the floor. While her alarm clock is beeping, Yu wonders if it was a dream. The common area is empty. Yu looks at the billboard which has a notice regarding students who are going home during the summer break.
Still beet red, Yu thinks that they had gone home, no wonder there is no one here. “...ah, geez, having such a strange dream so early in the morning... Was it the side effect of the cosplay before? *dizzy* Before going out, I should drink something first...”
She is surprised when Haruto suddenly appears in front of her. He asks her if she is going out. She wonders why he is here. At the hospital, Haruto tells her to quickly come back. Yu quietly looks at him.
She thinks that today is just a routine check-up, that’s all. “Could it be that...he is the type of person who likes to worry?” While the people in the hospital are all looking at Haruto who is waiting by the lounge, Yu recalls telling him to please don’t bother with her. “...he said that we are going steady, is it also due to this reason?” Her heart beats loudly.
At the doctor’s office, she thinks that by merely looking at him from afar, he really makes one think that he’s so cool... “His aura is also very strong... *the doctor comments that her heartbeat seems to be quite fast* How come that person would want to be with a person like me?”
At the lounge, Haruto is reading a book on cranial nerves. Then, someone calls out to him. After coming out of the toilet, Yu wonders if the roof is just in front. Aghast, she starts to run because she cannot let Haruto wait for such a long...
Then, she notices a patient with a bandaged head and right foot who dropped his clutch. Hiro curses over this. To his surprise, Yu gives his clutch back to him. He says that she’s Akabane... Yu asks if they have seen each other before.
Approaching her, he says that she hasn’t recovered her memories yet. “You and I are love rivals fighting for Kurosaki Haruto.” This surprises Yu and everyone else who heard his declaration. Yu couldn’t believe that she and this bishounen [beautiful youth] are fighting over Haruto.
Hiro casually says that he is also the main culprit who had pushed her down the mountain cliff. Not listening to him, Yu is still in processing in her brain that this guy is her love rival.
Hiro says in the end, it is useless. “Ah, I won’t harm you again. I ought to.” He sits on a bench and asks how Haruto is. “Seeing you like this right now, can he still be very calm.” Stuttering Yu asks, “...about, about that... Kurosaki-kun, he...what...what does he he he like about...me!?”
Hiro darkly asks ha, why the heck is she asking him and that is a question that puts him in a bad mood. Yu apologizes for that. “...I want to know...things related to Kurosaki-kun... And besides, from you, I can...feel your love for him.” This made Hiro blush and sparkle.
He says that her face is so thick. He asks about him pushing her down, she doesn’t have any complaints about it? Yu asks huh, push down. She gloomily asks if she was the one who caused his injuries. Hiro goes ha? Yu says that she heard from Kaji that she’s quite violent. This made Hiro laugh and say, “...you are really still tenacious and strange.” Yu is puzzled.
Hiro screams in surprise when Haruto suddenly grabs his collar and pulls him near the railing. Haruto darkly says, “I should have already told you, right. If you were to dare touch [/meet up with] her again, I’m going to kill you.”
Surprised Yu wonders if he is talking about her. While the others are nervously watching and calling for security, Hiro says, “From the day I pushed that girl down, I have always waited for this moment to come. *happy* --to be able to die in the hands of Kurosaki Haruto whom I yearned for, I will really die with no regrets.” This made furious Haruto push Hiro down further.
Yu quickly intervenes and shout, stop!! She looks down and realizes how high they are. Haruto tells aghast Yu to move. Yu tells him not to be like that. “There’s no sense in using violence... I’m alright. And, it is just lost memories, that’s all. It’s no big deal at all.” This surprises Haruto that he says, ...for her to say that so casually. He throws Hiro on the floor.
The security goes to coughing Hiro and asks if he is alright. Looking very enchanted, smiling Hiro says yes, they are just playing around, don’t mind him. This shocks Yu and the guard. While the other patients leave and say that lately, high school students are really something, the security takes his leave.
Hiro’s friends come rushing towards him. They sweatdrop upon seeing how happy Hiro is. Watching Hiro and the others leave, Yu wonders if before, she likes Haruto like that person. She is about to talk to Haruto when he sadly says, “It turns out that it isn’t a big deal for you to lose your memories that are related to me.”
Surprised Yu felt a stab of pain. He turns around and says, let’s go. Yu quickly grabs his shirt and asks, “...are you crying?” Surprised Haruto looks at her and goes !? Yu wonders what is she saying.
Quickly letting him go, she says that she is mistaken. Haruto says, “—me? *turns to leave* Don’t say such nonsense things.” Blushing Yu thinks that it felt that she cannot break the connection with this person... Yu’s parents arrive and call out to Yu.
They say that it has been a long time and they saw Haruto first. Since Yu is lost in thought, her father has to call her name again. Snapping out of it, Yu acknowledges them. She blushes and wonders why her heart is suddenly beating so fast. Yu’s father says that after they went to the dorm to give their greetings [to the dorm head], they learned that she went to the hospital.
Her mother says that didn’t they tell her before that she’s going home today. “That’s right! It happens to be summer vacation so Kurosaki-kun, do you want to come [and hang out] to our house♡” Yu tells her mother what she is saying all of a sudden... To Yu’s shock, Haruto accepted the invitation. Narration: “He’ll go with us to my house!?”
Soon, in the train, Yu stiffly sits beside Haruto. She thinks that it always feels that something amazing is going to happen next. Yu’s father asks if Haruto’s father is doing well. Haruto says ya. Yu’s mother says that Haruto has grown taller.
Yu wonders how come her parents are so familiar with him, and does that mean that she had already brought him to see her parents!? “I unexpectedly... I really cannot dare believe it!” Haruto stands up and says that he’ll go and call the dorm.
As Haruto goes towards the door, Yu’s mother tells Yu that Haruto still really loves her. While Yu’s father asks what she meant by that, Yu blushes and asks, love, love!? Yu’s mother says that he is always paying attention to her every movement. “It is like he is afraid that you’ll run away to some other place.”
Yu says, “...having a boyfriend and having so many kind friends at my side... that, high school me, could it be that she was possessed by someone? Just now, I was even caught in a bloody crossfire [between rock and hard place; Haruto and Hiro]...” Yu’s parents laugh over this.
Yu’s mother says that ever since she went to live in Harumi dorm, she is so happy whenever they see her. “It looks like Kurosaki-kun is a very good influence [/effect] to you.” Yu wonders if it is all thanks to that person? By the train door, Haruto takes out his cellphone and calls Takumi. To his surprise, a voice says, “---The number you dialed is not in service [/disconnected] --”
At an apartment condo, Haruto and Yu’s father are comparing notes. Yu looks at them and thinks that after they got off the train, her father is always sticking around with Haruto. “And also during dinner...papa would repeatedly ask questions”
Flashback during dinner: Yu’s father said ah, so Haruto’s brother is a doctor abroad. “Isn’t it very lonely that you two didn’t live together.” Haruto replied, no. End flashback.
Carrying towels and a Hawaiian with hibiscus design package, Yu’s mother tells Haruto that the bath water is ready so take a bath first. “These are pajamas. They are new so go and use them.” Taking the things from her, Haruto says then, he’ll go ahead.
After Haruto leaves, Yu thinks that she still wants to properly talk with him. Then, while her father wants to watch TV with Yu, her mother exclaims that the shower gel is already used up. “So here you go, Yu-chan.” She smiles and holds a Gody wash bottle.
Yu is puzzled. Her mother whispers to Yu that she take this to Haruto and then talk with him. “Leave your father to me♥” Yu wonders, right now!? And, her mother pushes her towards the door.
Yu wonders what she’ll say in the bathroom. Standing in front of the shower divider, Yu says that she’s going to give him the shower gel. Then, she recalls him saying that it isn’t a big deal to her that she lost her memories about him.
She thinks that means that he’s actually really bothered by it. Since Haruto cannot hear her, Yu goes inside. While closing her eyes, she says sorry but she’s coming in. She is surprised to see him lost in thought [/staring into space]. Upon noticing her, he quickly covers himself and asks if she came to peep.
Embarrassed Yu says no, she isn’t, her mother made her bring this thing... And, she promptly slips. [I think] Haruto holds her steady as she has to hold on to him in order not to fall. He tells her, tsk, she really isn’t careful at all. As Haruto looks at blushing Yu’s face [<- eyeglasses fallen], Yu wonders how can they talk in this kind of situation--!”
Comment: So, regarding Yu’s dream, is that to connect to Haruto’s brother being a doctor, to the cosplay side story or a slight recovery of Yu’s memories? Perhaps, just to set the situation of Haruto suddenly appearing in front of her ^^
It is good that Yu is starting to notice how concerned Haruto is about her. It helps that he is somewhat nicer. I guess he realized that being rough isn’t going to help at all. It will just make Yu not want to have anything to do with him.
Apparently, Hiro is not just a fan but a love rival as he claims to be. I’m still wondering he’s just pulling Yu’s leg but then, he was quite blunt enough to admit that he was the one who pushed her down the cliff. In some way, because of this encounter, Hiro seems to have a more favorable view of Yu.
Haruto’s reaction here is what I expected before. I guess he was indeed complacent before because Yu was okay with minor injuries. But now, it was like Hiro ‘killed’ the Yu he knew\love. Hiro’s reaction is interesting [not typical] but then, not surprising.
I wonder if Haruto would have pushed him down if Yu didn’t intervene. What she said really hurts. After his reaction, what she said is somehow moving. It was like the ‘high school Yu’ inside made her reach out and ask ‘are you crying’. As if, wanting to comfort him/knew what he is feeling.
So, during winter break, it was staying with Kpapa. Now, it is with Yu’s parents on summer break. Is the nature of the breaks with the parents’ nature a coincidence? Yu’s mother already highly approves of Haruto and she would even play cupid. Yu’s father seems to be in interrogation mode.
I’m not quite sure what Yu’s mother is doing is okay. I mean sending one’s daughter to her boyfriend while he’s taking a bath. I guess she trusts Haruto enough ^^ The father would probably disapprove of it. For a while there, I wonder if Yu slip and hits her head...will she get her memories back? =P
Rather, will she get her memory back during her stay at her place...before they return to school? I’m not too sure if they can actually talk in that kind of situation. ^^; I really wonder how aware Yu is of what she might see by going inside the shower room. Haruto is decent enough to cover himself ^^
As for Takumi, I don’t know if it is important in the story that Haruto cannot contact him. There was no falling out earlier so there’s no reason for Takumi to cut his service/change number without telling Haruto. I’m not sure if it is a case of not paying his bill that his phone service has been cut off. ^^; I do wonder if it has something to do with Mina due to the cover...well, if it has a connection to the story ^^;; Scans by bilibili
