Narration: “Ever since that night during the summer festival, Akabane-chan didn’t recall anything about us.” Arriving at the dining hall, Yusuke says that he’s hungry. Then, he notices Yu looking around while standing at the side. Yusuke realizes that she is in trouble.
He thinks that she came to the dining hall but won’t dare go in. He quickly goes to Yu and urges her to come in. “You can freely choose where you want to sit. Let’s eat together!” Yu calls his name wrong [Kishi] so he corrects her. He offers to get food for her but to everyone’s surprise, Haruto already brought out two trays of food. He tells Yusuke to just sit down.
Everyone is also surprised that Haruto is wearing an apron. Yusuke asks Haruto what this is all about. Haruto says that this is the dinner for today. They are surprised that Takumi is also serving food on trays.
Yusuke wants to help when the dorm head says that this is punishment. “This is their punishment for going into the ladies’ floor. [<- when they barged into Yu’s room =P] As the cold-hearted dorm head, I absolutely won’t be lenient even if it is Kurosaki-kun and others... No wonder he is the dorm leader, he even unexpectedly proposed that they be punished for it.”
Yusuke is surprised that Haruto who is so obedient to rules would unexpectedly... He looks at Yu who is staring at the bowl which contains tomatoes. Wearing his apron half-way, Takumi serves the dorm head who thanks him and says that the apron suits him.
Narration: “It turns out to be like that. They are worried about Akabane-chan.” Holding a drink, he says out loud that it seems like LOVE is greater than the dorm’s rules. “I also have to think of a way to help Akabane-chan! What should I do...”
Dark Mina asks if he also likes Yu. Blushing Yusuke exclaims that Tarako is his one and only so absolutely do not have some strange misunderstanding. Mina asks, Tarako?
Yusuke starts explaining that his relationship with Yu has been special ever since before. “During first year, I was almost driven away from the dorm. At that time, Akabane-chan protected me.” Not interested in his explanation, Mina goes to Yu.

Yu says that this store [/bakery]...she had seen it on the television before. Mina says that actually that is from her memory, though it was during junior high. She asks Yu if she really doesn’t remember that they are in the same junior high. Yu looks flustered.
Hearing their conversation, Yusuke shouts to wait a moment. He had thought of something. He goes to the school and asks the teacher to let him borrow the key to the storage room since he is going to look for something. Yusuke looks for the things in the storage room and finds a mascot costume.
Narration: “Akabane-chan is my savior. Also during that time when I and Tarako-chan had quarrel [/problem]--” Flashback before the summer festival: While practicing to box, Yu told Yusuke that love is also a right straight punch! Yusuke nervously asked if he should tell Tarako everything about kissing some other girl.
Yu exclaimed YES! “Tarako-chan already noticed that you are acting fishy! Your lying skill is really terrible!” This surprised Yusuke. He stuttered, saying that actually he wanted to tell Tarako earlier but... Yu scolded him if it doesn’t matter to him if they are always awkward like this. “Bring out your courage!”
Moved Yusuke cried and shouted that he’ll immediately go to Tarako’s place to see her. “I’ll be troubling you to help me in handing over this trip application!!” Yu exclaimed, “Understood!! You just go and receive a vicious attack and be crushed afterwards!”
Yusuke nervously asked crushed...will he be dumped!? Yu apologized and said that it is just...if by chance... End flashback. Narration: “This time, it’s my turn to help her!” The princes and Yu is shocked when Yusuke wore the mascot suit and asked Yu if she had any impression on this!
While everyone is chattering over the ruckus, somewhat scared Yu asks what impression. Yusuke says that during the first year high school’s cultural festival, she wore this and walked around the place! Yusuke starts to wear all sorts of costumes to remind her of the sports meet <- cheering squad, the courage test <- ghost, and Christmas <- snowman.
Yu’s friends say that is quite nostalgic and everyone wore strange outfits then. Someone laughs and says that s/he would want to do a lot of activities this year, too. Yusuke notices Yu smiling.
This made him perk up that he exclaims next is the climax. “I had even specially asked him to come over!” Takumi wonders what’s going on. Gloomy Haruto comes out with long hair and a long broom. Everyone looks aghast.
While Yu holds a pair of scissors given to her by Yusuke, Yusuke asks Yu if she doesn’t have any memory of the time when she just arrived at the dorm. “Akabane, come and cut!” Everyone is aghast for it seems to have some scary feeling this time around... Yu nervously asks cut what?
Yusuke shouts, Haruto’s hair! “You cut it during that time!” This made Yu go into !? Aghast Yu asks how can she possibly do that kind of thing. Takumi wonders what they are doing. Haruto darkly tells Yusuke that it has an opposite effect.
Yusuke shouts that they have all sorts of methods to try! “Come- Kurosaki-kun, give her the legendary leg kabedon!” [<- corner on the wall using one’s foot] This frightens Yu that she tightly holds the scissors. Taking the scissors from her, Haruto says that he won’t do anything. Tossing the scissors to Yusuke, Haruto tells him not to give Yu dangerous things.
Yusuke exclaims that he still has some other things, wait! Takumi sighs and says that Yusuke wants to re-create the turning point of her memories so he is doing this kind of cosplay. Yusuke exclaims no wonder it is him. “You are right! Shiro-chan, do you want to try it!?”
Holding a uniform, Mina asks if this is a military uniform. “The sewing is quite bad.” Yusuke says that is also used during the cultural festival! “At that time, Kurosaki-kun even used handcuffs to lock himself and Akabane-san together.”
Yu is shocked over the handcuffs. Takumi takes the uniform. He puts it over his shoulders and puts on a military cap. He sits on the table and says, “In this dorm, I’m the rule. *stares at Yu as he holds up her chin* You must obey all of my orders.”
Yusuke, Mina and Haruto are shock by that. Takumi is stunned when Yu starts to clap. With an astonished look, she says, “...Shirokawa...you turn out to be...a member of the drama club! ...so amazing!”
Takumi timidly says no...it isn’t like that. While others ask Takumi to do it one more time, Haruto sweatdrops. Yusuke asks if Takumi has also lost his memories. Embarrassed Takumi says no, he is simply imitating Kuro, that’s all... “Ok- I should get the food already. Anyway, just let nature take its course.”
Dismayed Yusuke says is that so... Mina asks Takumi if that is his true colors. Takumi tells her to say that to herself. [<- pot calling the kettle black?] Yu calls out to Yusuke and says that he prepared a lot of things for her. “I’m really sorry that I still wasn’t able to remember anything...”
Yusuke exclaims that he should be the one apologizing because of suddenly doing this cosplay yet it wasn’t of any help... Yu says but, she felt quite happy. “Let’s...cosplay together, okay? *Haruto looks at them* After all, that is part of our memories! ...but, Kishi-kun, lies... are wrong.”
While holding a thumbs up, Yusuke freezes over lies!? Yu says how can she possibly cut Haruto’s hair and even handcuffs... Yusuke shouts that it is true! “Believe me- Also, my name is Kaji- How come it is only my name you cannot remember-”
Comment: And, we have a break from the story proper. Hm...checking the previous summaries, it seems that every fifth chapter is a side story. The pattern is 4 chapters then a side story. Anyway, that’s a heads up next time. Hm...it seems to be a new arc after every side story, too. So, perhaps, the next chapter is the field trip?
In this chapter, we learn that it is thanks to Yu that Yusuke had made up with Tarako. I almost thought something is going to be revealed when Mina brought those desserts like how come Yu doesn’t know her at all. Ah, the things Haruto has to do for Yu ^^ He is obviously unwilling to do that but he still gave it a try.
I wonder if Takumi’s acting will be important later on since he is planning to do some mischief...hehe, probably to make Haruto jealous. In a way, this skill is similar with Mina’s. They are good ‘performers’ to ‘trick’ people ^^ It seems that the mangaka is inserting scene between the two whenever possible.
PS. Oh ya, the Chinese scans are from a different group this time around. Most likely, they bought the rights this time. I don’t know if this group releases late or everyone is looking at the other group when it is this group that is going to release it. We’ll know for sure next time. Scans by bilibili
