In 2-B class, Yu stretches. She says that exams are finally over and it had been quite difficult. While walking at the hallway, crying Yusuke gloomily tells Yu that it seems that the two of them are going to take make-up exam again.
Aghast Yu exclaims that this time, she definitely will pass! ...she ought to. She perks up when Yusuke calls out to Haruto. Yu thinks that with Yusuke around, it won’t be obvious or too strange if she goes back to the dorm with Haruto.
Then, everyone sees Mina talking with Haruto. Pointing at them, Yusuke shouts that it’s Kurosaki and Mina. “Are they going back [to the dorm] together!? Did the two of them finally started going steady!?” Yu’s expression freezes as she thinks, “...what? Wait a minute there!”
There are those who are in disbelief that their hearts couldn’t take it. Some are crying over this development. Yusuke muses out loud that a handsome guy and a beautiful girl is a match made in heaven. Yu is already quickly running after the two.
Just when Yusuke is going to look for Tarako, someone calls out, “Kaji-senpai, go with us to a gokon [group blind date]!” Yusuke blushes and his eyes widen. “...Ha!? Go...gokon!?”
Hino says that he hopes that Yusuke can come liven things up. Embarrassed Yusuke apologizes and says that he cannot go because he already has a girlfriend. With hands together to plead with him, Hino says, “Please! What will happen to our gokon if there aren’t enough people...”
The minions also plead with him that they want a girlfriend! Yusuke continues to protest...ya— but... Hino tells him, “Senpai, you’re the only one whom we can depend on...” Yusuke quickly gives them a thumbs up.
He exclaims, “...I know already! Then let me take charge in helping you guys liven up the mood! Since you guys asked for my help, then as a senpai, I have to put in a bit of effort!” Hino and others’ eyes sparkle. The minions tell him that they’ll help him carry his bag. Yusuke tells them that there’s no need. Hino smiles over this.
Meanwhile, while wearing sunglasses [<- essential for stalking], Yu wonders why did things turn out like this!? She is hiding by a post while watching Haruto and Mina are walking by a busy street.
Yu wonders, “...could it be that during exams, the two of us...have quietly agreed to split up!? I wasn’t able to properly get in touch with him since I’m busy getting ready for the exams. Before, Tarako-chan also said, ‘How can I say this, the Black prince he is also a man’, ...does it refer to this!? No no! There is definitely some REASON behind this.”
She continues to stare at the two which caused some bystanders to wonder what’s up with her. By the promenade overlooking the bridge, Haruto tells Mina enough. [<- she was the one talking most of the time while they’re walking].
“You said before that you can only talk about what happened in the dorm outside, so what’s going on?” Mina tells him not to be in such a hurry, this is a scared dating place and earlier on, she wanted to go here. “Also, this place’s scene...” There is a Ferris wheel at the side.
Haruto puts his foot on the barrier and tells her to quickly say it. After looking surprised, Mina tensely says regarding who had threatened her before, she already has some clues. “Even if I don’t have proof at hand but there is a very suspicious guy in the dorm. He is a first year student.” Haruto asks who is it.
At the corner, Yu wonders what the two are talking about and just now, he even put up his leg... About to touch Haruto, Mina says that his sense of responsibility as a dorm leader is quite strong. “I really like this part...” Haruto hits her hand away and tells her not to touch him.
Mina smiles as she thinks that he’s being provocative. Mina tells him, “—if you want to know who, then give me a kiss.” Haruto asks what kind of joke is that.
Mina asks if it is because he has a girlfriend so he cannot kiss her? “On the night when I was locked up with Akabane-san, I was able to see a bite mark on your neck after you saved her. Could it be the two of you are...” This somewhat shaken Haruto.
Yu is puzzled when Haruto suddenly turns to Mina. He goes towards Mina and darkly says, “Not exactly a kiss, consider it as my reward for you.” Aghast Mina tells him to at least have a bit of romantic mood... Haruto darkly says that he wants to quickly get it over with.
Mina sweatdrops and closes her eyes. Seeing Mina holding up her lips to Haruto, Yu wonders what she is planning to do... “Could it be that it is a kiss!? No way... How come Kurosaki-kun isn’t avoiding it!?” She says, no—
To the two’s shock, Yu goes in between them and she ends up kissing Mina. Haruto looks totally aghast. Mina screams how come Yu is here and it’s disgusting to suddenly kiss a girl. Flustered Yu stutters that it just so happened that she is passing this way.
Mina exclaims, “Would a normal person hinder our kiss like that!? In the end, the two of you are going steady...” Haruto angrily pinches Mina’s cheeks and says enough. “Let me kiss you and get it over with.” Yu exclaims, “...what!? What’s going on!?”
Aghast Mina wonders if he plans on continuing it like this!? She tells him to wait, wait a minute! “I’ll say it, okay! *Yu wears her sunglasses again* ...it ought to be that first year student called Hino...
...For a beauty like me, he is the only one who never once come over to talk with me. On contrary, he is so cold [/indifferent] that it makes one feel suspicious.” Haruto says, “...I see”, then he quickly turns to leave.
Shocked Yu thinks, “What ‘I see’!? You’re already going back!? Totally ignoring me?” Her thoughts were interrupted by Mina who muses out loud that Haruto is quite special.
“It is the first time someone pinched my chin like that...it hurts to death. *blushes* This kind of reaction is totally not within the scope of my expectation. *Yu looks surprised at her* Akabane-san, he doesn’t even notice you, not one bit, it is better for you to immediately give up on him.”
As Mina looks at Haruto walking away, Yu thinks that Mina is falling deeper in love with him. “And besides that, KUROSAKI-KUN would unexpectedly take the initiative to KISS her!! *recalls Haruto suddenly kissing her cheek when they were at the balcony* Could it be that he’ll be affectionate to anyone!?”
Holding out some beverages, a man offers a drink to Haruto and says that it is their new drink so does he want to try it. Haruto grabs one drink and mutters, “That stupid dog, I did that kind of thing so that our relationship won’t be exposed! *dark mood* Calm down, getting angry over that kind of thing would make it seem like I haven’t matured even for a little bit, right?”
At the theater of the dorm, blushing Yusuke asks what was that about...in today’s gokon!? Glasses guy says that he is really popular. Yusuke exclaims that is what he wants to say. “How come the girls would only go after me! That is going against common sense!”
Glasses guy cries as he says that he also wants to be very popular, and he doesn’t have a girlfriend yet!! While eating some chips, beard guy says that it is the earnest dream of every guy, to be surrounded by cute girls... “I really want to become a handsome guy-”
Yusuke agrees and says that he understands their feelings. Beard guy says that he is so envious of him since he actually has a girlfriend and girls from outside [school] would kiss...
Flustered Yusuke exclaims that they were the ones who suddenly throw themselves [on him]... “I’m very serious with Tarako-chan!!” Holding a lollipop, Hino says that everyone seems to be quite happy.
Blushing Yuusuke calls out, “Hino-chin! what’s up with those girls at the gokon! After they’ve kissed me, they immediately left...” After licking his lollipop, Hino says, “Hino-chin? Let me explain things to you...” He suddenly grabs Yusuke’s head and hits it on the wall. This startles the minions.
As Yusuke says that hurts, Hino tells him not to call him so intimately. He overhears his minions muttering that Hino’s mood is really bad and maybe he isn’t feeling well.
Hino glares at them and says no, it is because they are quite useless. This made beard guy apologize. Hino says that they couldn’t drive Aida Mina, a girl, away. “Did you guys thoroughly investigate it? She is really his girlfriend?”
Glasses guy nervously says, “Yes, we heard that they even went out on a date today!” Putting his foot on Yuusuke’s right shoulder, Hino asks, “Does Kurosaki-kun have any secret? Your relationship is quite good so you ought to know, right?”
Yusuke proudly says that even if it cannot be compared to Shiro-chan but lately, his relationship with Haruto has indeed become a lot closer. “I’m quite happy [about it]. ...So, that’s it! Hino-chin, you want to become friends with Kurosaki-kun, right!? *Hino looks surprised*...
...Your action and behavior is the same with Kurosaki-kun before. If you really want to become his friend, then there’s no need to thoroughly think about it. Just directly go to him...”
Hino kicks Yusuke in the stomach. Hino says, “—it infuriates me to see you stupid foolish people, who are like trash, running around Kurosaki Haruto’s side day after day. *projector is played* Look at the screen.”
Yusuke sees a video of him being kissed by a girl while another girl hugs him from behind. Yusuke asks, huh? “This...is...” Hino says that is a video from today’s gokon. Yusuke nervously asks why he would have a video copy of that...
Sitting on the sofa, Hino chuckles and says, “If I spread that video and make Kurusu Tarako sees it, I wonder what kind of reaction she’ll make. “You better listen to what I say, Kaji-senpai.”
At the dorm leader’s room, Haruto is checking for something on the computer but he only sees a static video. He leans back on the chair and says that in the end, he couldn’t see it. “Tsk. It is only on that day when someone did something to the surveillance video.”
His cellphone beeps. He gets a message from Takumi saying, that it is no good, there’s no way to recover the data. Haruto looks at Hino’s file and notices that Hino went to the same junior high where he went. Then, his phone is ringing. It is Yu.
In school, someone says that after exams, it is sports festival so soon and isn’t it too early this year? While putting up the sign board, someone says that it is because the weather is quite hot so it was moved earlier—
Someone complains why won’t it be summer vacation soon and he wants to go out and have fun. Everyone is busy with their respective tasks. Yu gloomily pouts while holding some metal poles. Pulling up his sleeve, Takumi asks her to give those to him.
Some girls are saying that the White prince is so handsome. Takumi sweatdrops and says that this time around, their quarrel is quite long enough and Yu is even in a daze.
Yu wonders if in the end, she’s at fault. “But, it really makes me angry just thinking of it... *angrily hammers down a metal stake on the ground* That black devil!!”
Flashback to the phone call a few days ago. Yu said that even if he really wants to ask things from Mina but there’s no need for him to go out with her alone, right? He told her that this is the easiest way [to do it].
Yu said that she hasn’t even dated him after school. Haruto asked if that is a date and that isn’t the issue here. Blushing really red, Yu said, besides, he even wanted to kiss her [Mina], only she [Yu]... He told her not to make a fuss about that kind of thing.
Yu exclaimed, ...that kind of thing!? He told her that if she is being so meddlesome again, their relationship will be exposed sooner or later. “You properly reflect over that.”
Yu shouts, “...if it is expose, then it is exposed! That way, it would be even [more] convenient for me to stop her from stealing you away!” Irked Haruto shouted, “Don’t act recklessly over that kind of nonsense reason, you stupid dog!!” Then, he hanged up on her.
This made her angry. She called him up again. When he answered it, she shouted, “Then, I’m also going to do the same thing you did. Let me tell you, you have no right to be angry!” Haruto looks irked as he bit his lip. End flashback.
Just as someone asks him what they are going to do next, Takumi sees Yu putting up the cloth on the poles that are stuck on the ground. She angrily thinks, like who’ll reflect-- Takumi muses that this time, she isn’t in a daze, she is now in rage.
Takumi asks Yu if they haven’t made up yet. Yu asks, “...aren’t his and my character quite incompatible... Shirakawa-sensei. *Takumi is puzzled that she called him sensei.* I thought that he had become a bit amiable [good to talk with]. In the end, he had gone back to his original devil self lately. I totally don’t understand.”
Takumi comments that her tone totally shows her love. Yu darkly asks, what!? No way!? Takumi thinks that she is totally unaware that she herself has been making Kuro run around in circles. “Ah—really slow-witted.” Then, they hear some screams over how fast section A is.
Yu turns to see Haruto carrying a shinai. He tells someone to move those things over there. Carrying a traffic cone, Yu quickly walks away. Haruto calls out, “Hey, stupid dog.” To everyone’s shock, Yu turns towards Haruto and gives him the tongue ‘ble’! Then, she walks away.
A guy says that girl would unexpectedly dare stick out her tongue to Haruto...B section girl is so ferocious. Watching her leave, Haruto sweatdrops and looks somewhat flustered as he taps his shinai on his shoulder.
He is startled when Takumi laughs his head off over Yu unexpectedly sticking her tongue at Haruto and Haruto even got intimidated by it. “I really never expected [such a thing to happen]!”
On the second day, it is the last dash for preparation of the sports festival. In her class, pouting Yu wonders if she is venting a bit too much over her jealousy this time around.
“By the way, to whom should I go and do that kind of thing to make him angry? I basically don’t have a partner. But this time around, I also don’t want to bow my head and admit my mistake. Okay, time to go...”
Then, she calls out to Yusuke and asks what’s up with him lately. Yusuke looks startled. Putting his hands on his head, he says that he is okay and what is she talking about.
Yu asks why he is suddenly dancing. “At the dorm, you totally don’t go and look for Kurosaki-kun. And in school, you and Tarako-chan are a bit...” Tarako calls out to Yusuke.
Yusuke immediately looks aghast and shouts, “Ta...tarako-chan! Whaaat is it!?” She tells him that in the next vacation, does he want to go out with them. “My younger sisters also said that they want to see you.”
After looking surprised, Yusuke apologizes and says that they’ll talk about it again next time. He starts to dash towards the door. Yu tries to call out to him and says that after school, they still have to continue preparing for the sports festival. Tarako comments to Yu that Yusuke is acting strange. Yu agrees.
At the shoe locker, Yusuke nervously wonders what to do since he [Hino] unexpectedly wanted him to betray Haruto. He is startled when Haruto calls out to him. “Are you going back? Good timing.” Yusuke nervously asks what is it.
Haruto asks him to help him hand over some material to the dorm head since he has forgotten to do it before. Thinking that this is rare, Yusuke asks where the material is, are they at the dorm head’s room. Holding out his card key, Haruto says that it is in his room. “I left it on the table.”
Blushing red, Yusuke holds Haruto’s card and asks if he can go to his room. “I...I can...go in alone even without Takumi around...” Haruto asks why he is shaking. “Then, I’ll be troubling you. *Yusuke looks flustered* Even if I don’t think that something had happened to you but if there is any trouble, you can tell me about it.”
After a pause, Yusuke smiles. He gives Haruto a thumbs up and says, “...no problem at all--” After Haruto left, Yusuke’s phone starts ringing. Standing behind Yusuke, Hino tells him on the phone, “—such a good opportunity. It looks like you got his trust, Kaji-senpai...
...Then, I’ll be troubling you to go and search through Kurosaki-senpai’s room as much as you like.” [<- not sure if Hino is going along or it will just be Yusuke.] Yusuke looks nervous and aghast.
At the PE storage room, Mina watches Takumi and Yu getting some stuff. Mina asks why does she has to come and help. Yu says that it is because she always run off to A section and doesn’t help a bit in preparing. Sparkling Mina says how can she make her clear fair skin become dirty.
Takumi darkly tells her to quit making excuses and quickly work. While carrying some poles, Mina asks how come Takumi is carrying few things, the White Prince is such a weak chicken.
Carrying some mats, Takumi retorts back that with that kind of odd strength, there’s no need for guys to join the competition, right? Yu thinks that when Takumi is with Mina, his mouth is quite toxic.
Mina says then, she’ll be going ahead. Yu shouts for her to wait. She thinks that Mina is going after Haruto again... Then, Mina deliberately bumps Yu causing her to fall down on Takumi.
Before she leaves, Mina says that Yu is more compatible with Takumi. “Then, I’ll be going♪” Yu says that hurts, Mina, that girl... Takumi apologizes to her and asks if she can stand up first. Yu apologizes to him. She tries to get up but ends up slipping.
Yu exclaims that the gym mattress is too slippery. Blushing Takumi stiffens as her lips are inches away from his. He looks away and tells her to first calm down because if she casually moves around recklessly, it is possible that she’ll lose her balance...
Takumi is about to hold her but he stops himself. Just then, Haruto is going in the storage room to put back in some other kind of poles. He sees Yu pinning down Takumi as she is grabbing the mattress yet slipping down. She exclaims, “...strange!? Ya ah...”
Still looking away, Takumi tells her that he had already use his foot to press it down. “So at that side, Yu-chan...” Yu says, “Wha...which side!?” They were surprised when Haruto stomps down on the gym mattress. He darkly says, “Let me help you restrain him down. Quickly do whatever you want with Takumi.”
Comment: I don’t know whether to laugh or lament that this will become a full blown LQ [lover’s quarrel] with Mina and Takumi caught in between. ^^; I mean, what if Takumi burst out in laughter because of what Haruto is thinking. How would Haruto react?
But then, Yu might want to play along with what he is thinking as her ‘tit for tat’. In a way, things might be good for Yu in a way since this will keep Hino into thinking that Mina is Haruto’s girl.
Ah yes, Takumi is right. Yu is indeed making Haruto run around in circles and she is totally unaware of it. She is ‘getting back at him’ without even trying. Interestingly, the theme of the chapter seems to be ‘much ado about a kiss’.
Because of ‘wanting to kiss’ to get some information out from Mina, Yu is jealous and couldn’t believe that it was not a big deal for Haruto. Though it seems that Haruto is kind of daring Yu to do it to Takumi based on that last scene.
Because of that ‘kiss’ and lovey-dovey at the gokon, Yusuke is now going to be tested. His friendship with Haruto or love with Tarako? Hino easily got Yusuke’s weakness who’ll do things after some flattery especially when being called ‘senpai’.
I do wonder if there is some truth to what Yusuke said about Hino wanting to be friends with Haruto. I get the impression that he idolizes Haruto and want him to be like what he imagined him to be ‘loner, cold, violent, etc’. Anyway, it ought to have hit a nerve that caused Hino to get angry and reveal his blackmail.
I’m not sure what they can get from Haruto’s room though. For now, it is already known that Hino is good with gadgets since he tampered with the surveillance video. So, perhaps, Hino can bug Haruto’s room? Again, it depends if Hino is going to make Yusuke search for ‘Haruto’s secret’ in the room alone.
At least, the good guys now have a clue on the identity of the culprit. It is amusing that Mina is on to him just because he treats her differently than the others. Actually, three guys treat her differently but the only one who perked her fancy is Haruto. Perhaps, because he is ‘strong’ and ‘handsome’ as she is ‘strong’ and ‘beautiful’. ^^ Scans by 腾讯动漫
