Whatever happens two days after, I’m thinking that it indeed has something to do with romance based on what happened in this chapter. Ren is indeed itching to ask her about that kiss. Kyouko already ‘feels’ it but decides not to take the initiative to make him ask.
For the boss to cook the bento, is that a sign of approval for Ren or it is because he doesn’t want Kyouko to be the one cooking for him? =P Since it was mentioned that he is like Kyouko’s father, I wonder if they’ll be the ones who’ll send her off during the wedding ceremony. ^^ <- jumping way too ahead

That kiss with Kana is mentioned so perhaps, it will be important later on. Perhaps, a comparison with Shou’s kiss if ever Kyouko finds out about Kana’s kiss. Then, he brought that one up. Still, it seems that it was highly unusual for Kana to do that. Will Kana be important to the story later on?
Hehe, Kyouko’s gloomy mood due to ring has suddenly disappeared when they are doing something ‘fairy tale’-ish. Too bad Kyouko didn’t connect the possibility of Ren = fairy prince = making rings out of flowers. She even envisioned his father as some Disney princess with singing birds and dancing flowers.

Hm...I wonder if Ren wanted to ‘marry’ his mother before since he recalled putting a ring on her then, he decided to put it on Kyouko’s finger. It’s on the pinkie finger though. Which usually means a promise, right? I wonder if Kyouko will realize that she may not get the same ring like Kimiko’s but her’s is specially made by Ren for her. ^^
Of course, it will wilt. Hehe, maybe later on, he’ll change it to something more lasting ^^ Will Kyouko still manage to keep her feelings after this? Is that his White gift to her? Until the next chapter...
