The mock exam results are out. With a B, Ume’s grades went up. With a C, Ayane thinks that it is the first time she reached this grade. At the courtyard, Shouta happily tells Sawako that he got B. Sawako exclaims that’s great and he did his best.
Shouta tells her that he actually planned to tell his father about his plans in the future after letting his father see that but he is really always too impatient. Sawako says no, he definitely chose the right timing. Shouta tells her that the next part is the key, he must do his best. She says yes.
Sawako comments that being impatient is so cool.. Shouta exclaims what!? She explains that it feels so agile because whatever she does is so slow.. He tells her that she probably has forgotten that because of his impatience, it cause so many things [/problems]..
Sawako is puzzled. Shouta smiles at her and asks what her grade is. She smiles at him and says that it is an A. He tells her that she’s amazing. It is another turning of the season as the leaves start to fall down.
In the faculty office, Pin tells Ryu that even if he basically had decided it earlier on but he still congratulates him for becoming eligible. Ryu says okay. As Ryu keeps on saying okay, Pin tells him not to do anything strange that will cancel his eligibility and even if he knows that Ryu ought to be okay-- and how come he is only saying, ‘okay’.
Looking at the door, Pin asks will she be okay. Ryu looks at the door to see Chizuru peeking inside. Pin says that Chizuru might go in Ryu’s luggage as he moves out. Ryu says no, about that, she won’t, it’s alright. Pin says that while he isn’t here, won’t she turn into ramen during that time. Ryu says that is a bit possible.
Then, Chizuru falls down on the floor when Ryu suddenly opens the door. Chizuru lamely says that it is really a coincidence. Ryu informs her that he passed [to get into college]. Chizuru blushes in surprise. Holding up her fists, she stands up and shouts, that’s great!!
Ryu asks if she’s happy. This snaps Chizuru out of it. She starts to act nervous and says really. Ryu asks if it is unexpected and he also feels.. Chizuru says no, how should she say it.. “That is inevitable! Seeing you happy will also make me happy for you!!”
Ryu smiles and leans towards her. Chizuru blushes and says, wha..what. Ryu comments that while packing his luggage, if it is okay, he really wants to pack her inside. Surprised Chizuru exclaims what..that’s creepy!!
At the hallway, Kent calls out to Ayane and informs her that he passed [to get in college]. Ayane happily congratulates him. He smiles and says that next, it is her turn! Ayane looks surprised. Kent says that he’ll always support her and gambatte!! She smiles and says, yes, she’ll do her best!
The results of college entrances based on recommendation are already out. After studying, Ayane stretches her arms. She looks at Pin’s candy and recalls him telling her not to worry, she can definitely do it!! She holds the candy to her lips and says, yes..it is alright..I can do it.. And, this is everyone’s last winter—
In school, someone says that this year they are exam students so there is no Christmas [party]. Someone says yes and someone else is shocked. Chizuru cannot believe that they are not going to have Christmas. Ayane tells her to just go together with Ryu, just the two of them for there’s no need for them to take the college exam.
Ayane starts muttering about boyfriend and girlfriend, Christmas, spending it well.. Chizuru nervously asks what’s the matter with her. Sawako wonders if the two will spend it together. She thinks that an exam student’s Christmas feels a bit lonely but she must do her best.
Someone shouts what they are doing. It is Pin who shouts what is this Christmas, Christmas, listen, the only one who can say the words Christmas is only Sawako. Chizuru says that’s wrong, it’s her. Pin says that he was mistaken and who made her look like a delinquent. This irks Chizuru.
Chizuru shouts not to recklessly vent his bad temper just because he doesn’t have a girlfriend. Pin says that she talks too much. Chizuru teases him for being a single dog. Pin retorts back that she is a strip of ramen.
While the two are quarrelling, blushing Ayame tells herself to calm down and what’s going on, this is far from good. Pin calls out to Ayane and lightly hits her forehead. He smiles and says that she’s the one who most, cannot [talk about Christmas]. Pin laughs and says that it serves them right, them exam students.
Chizuru is furious for how can he be so irritating. She tells Ayane to say some cutting remarks to cut down Pin while he can still hear it.. But Ayane is still blushing and holding her forehead. Puzzled Chizuru asks if she won’t talk back..she’s good at that..
Ayane says that there’s no need, anyway, they are really exam students and they are in an unfavorable situation so they really have no time to celebrate Christmas. Chizuru exclaims if she is really not going to say even some sarcasm, what’s with her!!! Ayane says no, she really cannot say those cutting remarks, and that is really rude.
Chizuru asks if she is having a fever!! While Ayane is saying no, and she is really fine, Sawako thinks that looking at Ayane, it seems that her [Ayane] heart is always jumping nonstop..this feeling, she [Sawako] had also experienced it..Ayane..perhaps.. It is already snowing.
While walking with Sawako, Shouta confirms that this year, everyone won’t be celebrating Christmas together-- He tells her but, they can go home together. Anyway, today is the closing ceremony so if it is no problem, how about eating together before going home.
Sawako excitedly asks if they can. He mentions about some cake-dessert-type. This made Sawako happy that she’s so happy, that’s great~~!! She is happy that even as exam students, they can still enjoy Christmas. She recalls that it seems she cried during last year’s Christmas and the year before last year’s but she is very happy.
During first year, she sang in karaoke and received a gift. She even gave her father’s waist band [/haramaki] to Shouta. Then, last year during second year, everyone celebrated it— She blushes really red and recalls the kiss. Shouta calls out to her and suddenly shouts if he can hold her hand. Holding out her hand, Sawako says okay. He says no, not that, not with the glove, but directly holds each other’s hands.
After removing her glove and holding his hand, blushing Sawako thinks that it is so sudden and what’s up with him. He seems to be slightly shaking their hands together that she calls out to him. Snapping out of it, Shouta suddenly holds up his arms and shouts his apology. Sawako says no, it’s alright. He urges her to quickly wear her gloves. He shouts his apology and he won’t do anything. Sawako says, what!?
Then, Shouta asks her not to wear it yet. He asks her to let him see her hand for a while. She holds up her hand. He slightly smiles and touches her hand with his. Sawako thinks that, there is a really distinct ‘like’[/love] feeling. At the consultation room, Pin asks if he can fill up here the ‘break even’ [/guarantee to get in] schools.
Ayane says okay but, no matter what, she wants to take an exam at her first choice. Pin says, ah, then gambatte. He says that she is really striving hard. He tells her the parts which were done well but then, he won’t praise her too much or else, she might become careless. He doesn’t want to be responsible if it gets into her head.
Ayane thinks that the school she originally believed that she has no hope of passing is now raised to 50% chance. But this side [romance with Pin] has 0% hope. Thinking about it, she feels that there is a higher possibility to pass the college exam.. She tells him that he’s very responsible with his work. He asks in what position she is standing that she’ll say that.
Ayane thinks that how can she say it, in the end, he is still a teacher. Pin asks what’s the matter, is there any other questions. Ayane snaps out of it. Blushing, she says, mature..mature..mature woman..is that his type.. Pin shouts, mature, an old woman? Ayane shouts stop, he’ll have many rivals. Pin shouts who cares, he likes the ‘just right’ kind.
Ayane wonders what kind of person will Pin go steady with. Even if he say that he wants a girlfriend, even if two days later, he’ll have a girlfriend, it is absolutely impossible that it will be her. Pin says that if there is a ‘just right’, can Ayane introduce that person to him.
Ayane exclaims that she absolutely will not! He calls her stingy. She exclaims why she must help introduce a girlfriend to her homeroom teacher. Pin says that he doesn’t mind that kind of small thing. Ayane angrily shouts that she minds. She asks if it is over. He says that she can leave.
Ayane thinks that he absolutely won’t make a move on a student, absolutely won’t, and in his eyes, he absolutely won’t look at her as that kind of person. She calls out to him and says that he is a good teacher. She stands up and heads to the door. She says that she can guarantee that.
Then, she heads out. Pin smiles over that then says, so he was saying, where is she standing that she’ll say that to him.. Outside the room, Ayane thinks that even if she doesn’t any plans, what about it--.
While Ayane is walking with her friends, Chizuru asks if Ayane doesn’t feel that she is acting a bit strange lately. This surprises Ayane. Chizuru says that it seems like she is always has that kind of feverish thing like that time so she better be careful about catching a cold for she is an exam student.
Ayane thanks Chiziru for the concern and she’ll be careful. Ayane nervously thinks that Chizuru ought to be very slow[-witted] yet, she unexpectedly..she [Chizuru] cannot be belittle so could it be some wild intuition when she doesn’t think that Chizuru has that. Sawako thinks that in the end, Chizuru also felt that something is wrong. It’s a girl’s intuition.
Chizuru starts telling Ayane that maybe her feet got cold while sitting in front of the table and isn’t she scared of cold so better sleep with a kotatsu [heater]. Ayane asks Chizuru why she confessed to Ryu’s brother. Chizuru is surprised over why she is asking this right now.
Ayane says that she is just curious why. While Sawako perks up, Ayane says that at that time, he had already decided to get married and even..if she’s sorry for saying this, but he won’t pay attention to Chizuru right.. probably..but she still confessed so right now, she [Ayane] suddenly thought that she doesn’t understand that..
Chizuru exclaims no, that is because..that! Ayane asks what..like having hope. Chizuru exclaims no, there is totally none of that!! Ayane asks if she wants to ‘settle/resolution’ with the one she likes the most. Chizuru exclaims, settle..settle..hm.. Ayane asks if it isn’t to settle..
Chizuru admits that she basically doesn’t plan on saying it but it it’s the slip of the tongue. Then, in the end, it became a settlement because she felt that it is fortunate that she said it out. Ayane asks if she felt happy [/free from worry].
Chizuru says yes, it is also that kind of feeling. On one hand, there is actually that kind of feeling and second, it is because that is her first love so for her, she felt that doing that kind of thing is also quite good. Ayane looks surprised.
Blushing Chizuru starts laughing and says of course, in the end, there is no result and it is really embarrassing--!! Chizuru lightly hits Ayane with her elbow and asks why she is suddenly asking this, what..is she preparing to confess to someone. Ayane shouts what she is saying, how can she possibly do that kind of thing, and with whom is she going to confess.
Just when Chizuru is saying that she’s kidding, Ayane is surprised when Sawako says, Arai-sensei? Ayane nervously looks back at Sawako. Also surprised, Chizuru asks what did Sawako suddenly say.. Sawako says that Ayane, she likes Arai-sensei..? This stuns Ayane and Chizuru.
Ayane becomes flustered and teary-eyed. She mutters, how.. To her friends’ shock, Ayane starts crying. She curses for what’s up with this, no..stop~~ Sawako starts to apologize to her. Chizuru asks her if it is for real, she is going to confess to Pin. Sobbing Ayane says that she won’t confess, she cannot do it, it is impossible to go and do it.. Chizuru is shock that this is for real.
Ayane curses and asks them to quickly help her stop this [crying of hers]~~ The two starts to make faces but it is useless. Ayane wonders how come they found out. She asks them not to tell anyone for she plans to forget it after graduation. She couldn’t suppress her feelings again. The moment it became words, it attained a concrete form.
Comment: Good job Sawako in exposing Ayane. That expression was priceless. That is one expression of someone who was caught hiding something.
Now, Chizuru knows something is wrong with Ayane with all that blushing. Sawako also figured it out for she experienced it before and Ayane’s actions towards Pin is quite telling. Ayane is also always blushing when she’s with Pin. So, the question is does Pin know.
If he is in character, he should. Except if he is the type of character who is good in figuring everyone out except when he is involved. I don’t recall Pin joking about ‘introduce a girlfriend to me’ with the other students. If it is only with Ayane, he might be telling her something in a subtle way. Still, she was the one who brought up the topic.
I do wonder for how long this can be kept a secret..or until after they graduate because iirc, Chizuru isn’t good with secrets. The next time she meets Pin, she might slip up. The responsible teacher bit, I guess that is pretty much saying that Pin won’t do anything to Ayane in a romantic way as long as she is still a student. That is if he knows of her feelings. Of course, afterwards, there might be a possibility..unless Pin tends to view students as forever his students. ^^;
Anyway, Ryu is for sure leaving. Chizuru seems to be taking it well. Pin is giving Ryu some ideas regarding packing her in a luggage =P With their current grades, the others will most likely get into the colleges they want except for Ayane who is still at 50/50. Unless, there are freak incidents like accidents, getting sick, etc that might hamper them from going to their dream colleges. And, we have a bit of lovey-dovey from the main couple. Scans by 夜莺工作室
