My comment for this series reading Sei is starting to feel like a never ending déjà vu. Didn’t I already mention that...
they are idiots/lame for the nth time. There’s no excitement here since it is very easy to predict that Sei especially its leader will be crushed by two small groups of people from Kouka.
It was interesting at first that there are no one in the fort but it turns out that they are all gathered to have a public execution for some unknown slave who tried to escape. How come it isn’t some known culprit? Perhaps, some idiot blurts out who she is =P It would be interesting if they set some traps behind. Traps that might not work but still, better than becoming sitting ducks to be finished off.
Kushibi is overly confident that soon, that smug mug of his will disappear. I think it will be fitting if Jungi disposes of him. I know what Lili and Ayura are trying to do but if this is realistic, they ought to have been instantly killed there. Both are provoking the enemy. Luckily, they rather have Lili hanged and only a few soldiers are attacking Ayura. If Kushibi is really ruthless, maybe, he can order some archers to do some damage so that the other slaves/rebels will not start having any ideas.
And, we have the usual exchange of glances by the ex-loversI mean ex-friends. Maybe if they finish off Sei, they can continue where they left off. Of course, this time around, it can no longer be said that only Suwon and his generals saved Lili. Since both groups are fighting to go towards that platform, I can almost imagine Jeha swooping down there with Yona. After saving Lili and glaring, Yona can grab her trusty bow and arrow and shoot Kushibi. Then, Jungi would protest not to kill him for he wants to be the one who’ll personally finish him off. =P
So, after Sei’s defeat and Lili reunited with her father, what then? Will they watch Suwon and Haku try to kill each other? Since the dragons are not keen on fighting Suwon, they can just fight the generals except the Wind. But with Yona there, injured, I don’t think there will be a fight. Maybe, leave it for next time again if it will ever happen.
The question is, the hairpin. What will Suwon do with it? Don’t you think that it is fate, well, for Yona x Suwon fans, for of all the stolen things there, he singled out one box which happened to have THAT hairpin. Hm..by the way, does Yona always keep it in a box or the box was provided by Sei people? ^^;
I can think of four possible scenarios: 1) Suwon calling out to Yona and saying that she forgot something. Give it to her and she accepts it. Just watch Haku’s heart being trampled again. 2) Suwon giving it back but Yona tells him to keep it. 3) Suwon secretly returns it to Yona. 4) Suwon keeps the hairpin and will spend the next few chapters staring at it just like what Yona has been doing in the previous chapter.
I hope scenario 2 happens so that we can finally move on. And, wishful thinking again, after this arc, Yona finally realizes what she wants to do with her life. But then, it is also possible that she’ll still want to continue training to become stronger to protect her precious ones.
Lastly, it would be a nice cliffhanger if they actually dropped the floor/chair and got Lili hanging. Instead of Suwon and others acting cool =P On a side note, it will be fun to watch Haku and Wind tribe fighting together with their spears/halberds. ^^
