Sawako tells Shouta that her parents always told her that she can act spoiled [/be pampered]. They ask her to depend on them and asked her to let them pamper her but she always felt that doing that will let them down so she was startled when she noticed that Shouta is pampering her yet she feels very happy. Shouta recalled her telling him that for him to say that makes her really happy. He stops walking so Sawako turns around. Shouta tells her not to go. This surprised Sawako. Shouta continues to say that in the end, he cannot say out those words to her. He tells her to ponder on it and choose but if she actually really wanted to go yet stayed behind because of him then he absolutely won’t agree to it! He absolutely doesn’t want her to do that kind of thing for it is unlike of her [to do so]. Sawako thinks that even if she said that she’s going to think of it but actually, has Shouta seen through her real way of thinking earlier on? That is, she wants to go to Normal University. Shouta says that he always thought that way but he never thought that even if they part, it is also an ‘indifferent’[/doesn’t matter?] idea. Reality is always not the same as one hoped for but actually, he wanted to become like Sawako. This surprises Sawako.

Shouta says to let Sawako relax and be pampered by him. When she is distressed, she can depend on him. He wants to become like her who is strong and gentle[/nice]. There is a flashback of Shouta’s birthday and she brought a cake. She told him to close his eyes, wish and blow the candle. Sawako thinks that perhaps he had wished, “I hope that without any perplexity, Kuronuma can move towards her own decided path ahead. I hope that Kuronuma can keep being herself. I hope that I can really push her from behind. I hope that I can give out some strength to Kuronuma.” End flashback. Shouta exclaims that it is because Sawako is the one he longed for forever so no matter what she chooses, it is like that. Only this part will absolutely not change. Sawako recalls about being envious of Shouta. He tells her that no matter what happens, it is always that!! “I like you, Kuronuma!!” Blushing Sawako thinks that it turns out that he is always thinking of that and she never thought of it. Shouta tells her that even if he said before ‘it is okay even if I’m alone [/it’s only one person]’..but that’s wrong, it is because there’s two of us. “Because it’s you and me! So, it’s alright!!” Moved Sawako hugs hum and says, ..yes..Yes! Surprised Shouta hugs her back and mutters,..ya..
Sawako thinks that she isn’t all by herself, she has Shouta— While holding hands and walking together, Sawako says that they had quarreled. He says ya. She says, she..scolded him ‘Kazehaya-kun is a big idiot’. Shouta laughs and says he did, too! This surprised Sawako. He tells her then, they are even. She smiles and says yes..! Then, she informs him that Ume is going to her house. He tells her that she always anticipated it, right. She says yes. He says that’s great. She thinks that it is good if they can really share equally, sharing all sorts of things, the two of them together. At home, Sawako introduces Ume to her parents. While her mother thinks that Ume is so cute, her father is screaming if Ume is a celebrity[/actress] since she is a bishoujo [beautiful girl]!? Ume smiles and says no she isn’t. She introduces herself and that she’ll be under their care [/yoroshiku]. The father exclaims that it is alright, she can even stay for a few more nights!! The mother says that if there’s no need to study, she has so many things that she wanted to talk with her. While going upstairs, Ume asks if that kind of feeling is okay and it has been such a long time since she done that. Sawako says that she cannot help think of the time when she just met Ume but then, even if she has that kind of usual pout, it is also totally okay. That irked Ume.
Sawako leads Ume to her room. Ume looks around the room. Sawako tells her to please take a seat. Putting her bag down, Ume says okay. Sawako asks where they will start first. Ume says math. Sawako says okay. Then, Ume says that the room is really Sawako’s style. Recalling her previous encounters with Ume, Sawako thinks that it is really baffling that right now, Ume is in her room embracing the same goal-- She's so happy. Ume asks Sawako if her goal is to become a mathematics teacher. Sawako says no, literature and language, she’s thinking of whether or not to become a literature and language teacher. Ume says literature and language, is that what she is better at. Sawako says that she isn’t good at it and she’s scared of it the most. But, how to explain [/interpret] people’s feelings and how to convey a person’s feeling, she always rack her brains about those kind of things so she wants to become a teacher. Sawako asks what about Ume. Ume says that she still doesn’t know. Sawako asks her what is her turning point to make her want to become a teacher. Ume says that she doesn’t know whether she wants to become a teacher or not. Her family seems to be the type who thinks that it is inevitable that one becomes a teacher so from the time she was young, she felt that she’ll probably become a teacher.
Besides, there is no other thing that she wants to do so naturally it is like that already. Even if she thinks that if she doesn’t become a teacher, it also doesn’t matter. But, she always felt that if she wasn’t able to cross over this, she won’t be able to attain approval from her parents, relatives..and also her own approval. Until now, she never made a positive breakthrough and she never thought of doing it..but she thinks that even once is okay..it is fine just even once. She thinks that like this, perhaps, she can recognize herself already.. Sawako recalls talking with Ume and Ayame with someone saying, ‘I want to recognize myself’. Sawako exclaims for her to go and do it, gambatte [/do your best]!! For she thinks that Ume can do it!! While Ume looks surprised, Sawako holds Ume’s hands and says that whether it is to attain recognition or even be qualified [/passed]! “Absolutely, you can do it!! Get everything that we can do in one go and afterwards, let’s pass the [entrance] exam together!!” Ume smiles and says that Sawako is really foolish. Sawako says that even if she is foolish, it is alright. “That’s for sure!!” Ume mutters that for Sawako to recognize her, what else can she do...
Comment: So, the couple sorted out their differences regarding Sawako’s future career by re-affirming their love and Shouta wanting to support her in everything. Basically, he doesn’t want to be the one who held Sawako back since that will be the opposite of what he wanted to do for her. Indeed, they are no longer alone/single, they are a couple and together, they can pass through this potential obstacle which is a long distance relationship. The reaction of Sawako’s parents towards Ume is amusing. Even if Ume is beautiful and everything, she still has her own issues. But thanks to Sawako’s words, it seems that Ume’s confidence got a bit of boost. In a way, I can see why Sawako is happy about Ume being there because from ‘love rival’, Ume is now her ‘teammate’ towards a common goal ^^ And, it seems that Sawako likes challenges/do something different than she is used to because normally, one would want to specialize on what one is good at rather than what one isn’t good at.
