By Request: Kurosaki kun no Iinari ni Nante Naranai [Chapter 19]

Holding her wrist, Haruto asks if she wanted him to a bit of something to her. Flustered Yuu says that it isn’t so..like this..what she wanted to say is..!? Then, the PE teacher is passing by so Haruto pulled her to the side. After going downstairs, Haruto warns her not to get involve in everything and regarding participating in school activity, it isn’t his style. Yuu protests that it is rare for everyone to be this enthusiastic about it. Haruto asks if she would still say that when he joins then ruins everything. Yuu asks him what he meant by that. “Answer me. I..I really wanted you to join. Can you properly explain..” Haruto turns around to her again and kisses her. He tells her regarding what he has decided on, she just have to shut up and properly comply. He tells her not to recklessly butt in or else, he’ll train [/teach] her again. Yuu dares him to go ahead and train. Just then, the others arrive and say that it turns out that Haruto is there. They ask if Haruto was joking about not joining the sports festival. They also ask if Yuu is persuading him. Yuu holds up Haruto’s arm and says that Haruto had said that he’ll properly participate. Everyone is silent. Haruto says ah..

And everyone thinks that is a yes. Everyone are happy that he is joining and say that he is really an expert in hyping up the mood. Yuu takes the opportunity to leave for she wouldn’t dare turn around and was she too tough on him. The others say that without Haruto, it is boring to death and even if they are not that reliable, but they’ll do their best so let’s join it together, Kurosaki-kun. Yuu thinks that since he didn’t deny it then he’ll participate, right.. Everyone is having a ruckus as they follow Haruto at the hallway. Takumi overhears the commotion from his class. Then, later on, everyone prepare for the sports festival. Yuu and Kaji are practicing their cheering. The others ask about the princes. Kaji says that he had already successful given to Haruto the practice recording. The girls call Kaji amazing and reliable. Kaji tells Yuu that he still has committee work so help him hand over the dorm’s application form. Yuu agrees to help until a certain Tarako [girl in bun with long eyelashes] passes by. Kaji tells Yuu to quickly leave and ask Tarako to help instead. This made Yuu laugh. Yuu thinks that it is good if Haruto will join then it will become a happy memory and it is good if Haruto can also become happy.

At the dorm head’s room, Haruto is watching the video on cheerleading. Takumi comes in and says that he wonders what Haruto is doing since he isn’t at his room. Takumi says that kind of thing is totally unsuitable for him even if it is the same with him [Takumi]. Haruto says that he can consider that. Takumi laughs and says that’s right. Turning the laptop computer off, Takumi asks if Haruto’s father strictly told him not to be in the limelight at the sports festival, up to the point of hitting him. Haruto says that he even said that he can easily stop that school activity. Takumi says that way of threatening is very much the style of Haruto’s father, and for this reason, so much money has been donated but then, that isn’t Haruto’s style. Noticing the dirty window glass, Haruto starts cleaning it. He asks Takumi if he had any recollection of the activities during junior high. Takumi says that is quite a surprise since they have already skipped cultural festival, camping and that kind of activities but the two of them still had fun together. This somewhat made Haruto nostalgic. Takumi asks what is it, could it be that he wanted to create memories when before he would always say that it doesn’t matter.

Looking out the window to see Yuu below, Haruto says that it is that stupid dog. Takumi looks surprised. Wiping the clean window glass, Haruto tells Takumi not to worry for he’ll think of a way if anything happens. Takumi calls out to him as Haruto is leaving. Haruto tells him to also watch the DVD. Takumi looks tense. And finally, it is the day of the sports festival. The band is playing. Visitors anticipate the festivities. The principal delivers his speech. Yuu and others say that this liveliness is amazing and totally different during junior high. Yuu is glad that Haruto really joined. Soon, during a race, the princes immediately capture everyone’s attention with Haruto in first place and Takumi in second place. Yuu bumps into a certain Kanei [glasses guy]. She is about to thank him for coming but he immediately runs off. Then, her boss calls out to her. She asks if they are with Kanei. The boss didn’t know and it turns out that he and girlfriend[?] only come to greet Yuu and they’ll go to their date next. Yuu is really puzzled about Kanei. Kanei is leaning near a tree while some girls are talking about the princes. Then, some delinquent looking guys call out to Kanei and say that unexpectedly, Haruto is really here and thanks for the information.

Soon, more competitions and more raves over Haruto since they are first again. The girls wanted to watch him in the afternoon’s kibasen. Yuu and others comment about the attention that Haruto is getting. Then, it is the three-legged race. Yuu looks for her partner. To her surprise, Takumi says that he switched with her partner so they’ll participate together. While Takumi is tying their foot together, he tells her that she is inciting Haruto for she made that kind of declaration in front of everyone that Haruto can only [/forced to] participate. Yuu blushes when Takumi puts his arm around her. Yuu asks if C section heard about what happened yesterday. He asks her if she thinks that it is alright even if Haruto cannot stay at this school. This puzzles Yuu. The race starts. Haruto overhears some girls saying they are envious of Yuu being partner with Takumi. Takumi tells Yuu that it is because Haruto will become the center of attention and in an activity like this wherein there are outsiders and people from other schools who can freely enter, then it is very easy to cause trouble. “I hope that Kuro can peacefully graduate from this place.”

Yuu recalls Takumi telling her that Haruto is his hero, and the butler says that before Takumi didn’t have a very close friend.. To Takumi’s surprise, Yuu says that it is alright, for even if there will be trouble, Haruto can also settle it at any time, and doesn’t he have a friend like Takumi..she also.. They were interrupted when Haruto calls out to Takumi and stupid dog that if they were in last place, he won’t forgive them. Yuu is embarrassed that Haruto called her stupid dog so loudly. Takumi mutters geez..in the end, it is only him [Takumi] who is worrying [about Haruto] all by himself. While Yuu urges Takumi that they go, Takumi glances at Haruto then kisses Yuu on the cheek. The announcer calls out over how gutsy the red group is when they are still in the competition, and it causes the other groups to become dumbfound. Takumi whispers to blushing Yuu that he only felt that it is better to get more attention than Haruto so tightly grab on to him. Then, it was announced that it is lunch break. Kaji calls out to Yuu that they are in first place and it is amazing for using Takumi’s kiss to paralyze the other group.

Walking away, Yuu thinks that it is really the white devil and he would unexpectedly say that it is to get the people’s attention. Haruto calls out to Yuu and asks what is she and Takumi are sneakily talking about. She says that it doesn’t matter [to him] what they talked about. She really wanted to hide in some hole. Then, Haruto picks her up and tells her to come over. Yuu tells him to stop and what is he doing, put her down. Haruto darkly says that he is going to make her sincerely explain. Yuu wonders why he suddenly became the black devil. Just when Takumi is calling out to Haruto to first go back to the dorm during lunch, Yuu’s parents call out to Yuu and say that they finally found her. Her parents made Haruto join them to eat lunch. Takumi can only look tense as the fangirls cling on to him and say that they made bento box. Soon, Haruto is having a picnic lunch with Yuu and her parents. Her father woke up early to make the food. Offering some curry, her mother asks if Haruto is Yuu’s boyfriend. Yuu immediately says no. Her parents are stupid lovers as they reminiscence about having no love during junior high then meeting each other during high school. Yuu apologizes to Haruto about troubling him and it is okay, he can leave. To her surprise, Haruto is going to eat the food offered to him. Yuu takes a spoonful of curry then shouts if her mother made this.

Just when she is scolding her mother for not being good at cooking, she is shock that Haruto already ate all of it. Haruto thanks for the food. This surprises Yuu again. Her mother is glad that it suits his taste and good luck this afternoon. Yuu asks her mother to at least test the taste. Her father says that his wife’s cooking is world’s number one. Then, Yuu offers him a sports drink. Haruto asks if it isn’t carbonated. She says that it isn’t and right now, she won’t do that kind of mischief on him. When he asked about Takumi, Yuu says that Takumi is really worried about him. Haruto says that Takumi loves to worry. Yuu comments that Takumi is like a guardian and what is his [Takumi] blood type. Haruto says that it is AB. Yuu says that she’s O. Haruto smiles and says that no one is asking. This puzzles Yuu for did he just smile and she can even normally talk with him. It isn’t the devil Kurosaki-kun.. The afternoon activities are about to start. From the back [way], Yuu rushes to go to the dorm since she has to get Kaji’s cheerleader uniform that he forgot to bring. Just then, she passes by some delinquents holding baseball bats. One guy says that the people gathered are a lot, and unexpectedly, that bastard Kurosaki is leisurely eating lunch a while ago. Another guy asks if that is for real, and he really want to quickly barge ahead. [<- probably rush in the dorm? I mean, they cannot do it with everyone else around during the festival, right?] Then, there is a scene of Takumi talking with Haruto as everyone else is excited over the competition.
