Last four chapters!! Suzume tries to get a good glance at the guy who looks like Shishio. Her eyes widen for it seems to be him. Then, Mamura calls out to her and asks why she is standing lost in thought there. She apologizes and says that there’s just a bit of something. She glances back again and realizes that it is a totally different person. Realizing that she was mistaken, she tells him that it is nothing, sorry, let’s go. Then, Mamura notices the guy who looks like Shishio by the aquarium tank. Meanwhile, Shishio goes in Yukichi’s place. Thinking that it is a customer, Yukichi apologizes and says that he is still preparing. He looks serious upon seeing Shishio. He asks Shishio why he came. Shishio says that it has been a long time since he came, and he specially came to eat the food Yukichi makes. Looking away, Yukichi says that it isn’t business hours yet so go out first. While Yukichi is at the bar, Shishio tells him that in the end, he still likes her. He has already prepared himself so he came here. Yukichi grabs his collar and angrily asks if he’s joking around, for after everything that has happened, what he is saying.

He shouts if Shishio specially run here just to tell him those things. Shishio says that it is fine if he thinks that he is awful or if he doesn’t believe him, but he only wants to let him know this thing, and that’s all there is to it. He only wants to say the utter truth to a friend whom he acknowledges [/approves of] from the bottom of his heart. Yukichi loosens his grip and asks why he would unexpectedly say such a thing. Shishio says that he isn’t sure..probably..forget it, it’s nothing. Yukichi tells him to go since he got nothing good to tell him. Then, he grabs a bottle from the cabinet. The bottle bumps another one. Shishio notices that the other bottle is falling that he calls out to Yukichi. Meanwhile, Suzume is lost in thought over some t-shirts. She wonders which t-shirt her uncle said that he wanted for souvenir. Holding a small bag, Mamura asks if she is still choosing. She says that it is because..and by the way, what did he buy. Suzume is speechless over a parent-child eel cellphone strap. The stripe one is for his younger brother while the spotted one is for his father. Since she is speechless, Mamura asks what it is. She says that it is nothing. He asks her then what is it.

While Mamura quietly looks at her, Suzume thinks that upon looking at the eel in detail, it is quite cute. Mamura is lost in thought over how Suzume looked with that Shishio lookalike. Suzume calls out to him and asks what’s up. It is his turn to say, no, it is nothing. Suzume tells him that she’ll call her uncle about the t-shirt so wait here for her. He says okay. Outside, Suzume calls her uncle and is puzzled why he isn’t picking it up. Then, finally, he did. Suzume asks about the souvenir. Her uncle apologizes and says that he doesn’t have time to talk about that. Then, he apologizes to someone and says that he is fine but someone else is.. ah, yes. Suzume tells her uncle that it is noisy at that side. He tells her that right now he is at the hospital. This surprises her that she exclaims what happened, is he alright, did he cut his hand. He tells her that it isn’t him but Shishio. He informs her that even if it isn’t life-threatening..sorry, he’s going to hang up the phone, bye. Suzume tries to tell her uncle to wait but he already hanged up the phone. She starts to think hospital and Shishio. Is it an illness, or is he hurt? Even if her uncle said that it wasn’t life-threatening, she also doesn’t know what the situation is.. Wrong, she should said, even if she knew—

Mamura interrupt her thoughts and asks her what’s up, her face looks awful. She says that it is nothing, sorry, that is nothing at all. Looking aside, she thinks that even if she knew, she is also powerless [to do something]. She tells Mamura that compared to that, they should go for the bus on the way back, might be very crowded. Suzume thinks that even if she tells it to Mamura, it would only just trouble him, but--.. Mamura lightly gives her head a karate chop. Blushing Mamura tells her to tell him what happened. While Suzume holds her head, Mamura says that occasionally, she should openly depend on him a bit. Suzume tells him that just now, she called her uncle and he is at the hospital. It seems that Shishio has been brought in the hospital. While Mamura goes ha?, Suzume continues to say that even if it isn’t life-threatening, but she is still a bit startled by it. And then, she thinks too much but no matter how worried she is, she couldn’t do anything. Looking down, Suzume thinks that she obviously knew that she shouldn’t be saying this kind of things to Mamura. Mamura recalls how she called him to hurry. He sadly closes his eyes then hugs her tight. This puzzles Suzume that she calls out his name. Mamura recalls how she asked him to go steady with him. Then, he holds her away from him and says, “Go.”

Comment: With four chapters left, Mamura seems to finally have let her go. He might be telling her to go see Shishio but from his recollections before he said that, it seems that he is indeed letting her go. Aside from her being always distracted when Shishio is involved, I think it ought to hurt more to be always be with someone you love who tends to forget you when that other person enters the picture. Even if she seems to, want to make the relationship work. I think it is better to break up rather than keep this up. She should decide whom she whole-heartedly wants and go steady with that person rather than be in this situation. Hehe, actually, this is the common dilemma in love triangle series. If she is for him, then, she’ll come back..if not, Mamura’s fans would gladly have him..or vice-versa =P Mamura seems to know what he got himself into and it doesn’t help that Suzume seems to be sincere for she was the one who agreed to go steady and she’s the one who invited him there. Well, usually an urgent thing makes someone decide in a love triangle series. In this case, it is an accident. Still..with four chapters, anything can still happen. So, this is the final cheer on for the two guys...Shishio vs Mamura, who will win Suzume? Scans by all★wink汉化组
Quote of the day:
Some people believe holding on and hanging in there are signs of great strength. However, there are times when it takes much more strength to know when to let go and then do it. ~ Ann Landers
